Providing us with an XML feed is by far the fastest way to get included.
If you have an existing file format you already use, it is likely we can accommodate that. If not, here
is an example of our XML format populated with some sample data to serve as a guide:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<source>
<publisher>Your SiteName </publisher>
<publisherurl>http://www.yoursite.com</publisherurl>
<lastBuildDate>Thu, 09 Sep 2010 03:29:12 +0000</lastBuildDate>
<job>
<title>Ads Title</title>
<date>Thu, 09 Sep 2010 03:29:12 +0000</date>
<jobsid>123456</jobsid>
<url>http://www.yoursite.com/detail.html?jobid=123456</url>
<company>CompanyName</company>
<city>City</city>
<prov></prov>
<region></region>
<description>Ads Description (TEXT ONLY)</description>
<jobtype>Full-Time</jobtype>
<contract>Temporary</contract>
<sector>Automotive</sector>
<category>Accounting/Finance</category>
</job>
</source>
The fields in red are required. Job entries omitting any of these highlighted fields will not make it into our database. The other info is optional but strongly encouraged. The more data you can provide about a job the better.
Important
- The URL must be a direct and permanent link to a free page. No login required to access this url. The URL must bring up the job description for the job that is being described
- Jobsid value must be unique to your website. All of the jobs you are providing in the XML feed must be unique to your website and must not redirect to other sites.
- If your site contains reposted jobs from existing job boards you must NOT include them in your XML feed or your site will be removed.
If you will not be complied with these rules, your site and your ads will be removed from our database.
